Items that you carry when trail ridding

To all -

I being a newbie (well not riding in a long time) was wondering what items (tools, food and whatever else) people carry with them when trail riding....Also what crafty ways have you carried these items.

I carry everything in my camelback-

1/4" ratchet
1/4" drive sockets 6mm-14mm
3" 1/4" extension
6" 1/4" extension
1/4" drive universal joint
6in1 screwdriver(has #1 & #2 phillips, small and large flat head and some nut drivers)
8" adjustable(a little overkill, just what I had lying around)
Pliers
Tire plug kit
cannibalized 12v air pump that hooks to my battery- these pumps are actually very small when you tear them out of their plastic cases

I need to add some larger socket stuff so I can do the wheel lugs and larger nuts/bolts on the bike

I usually have a couple power bars with me. All though I think there are probably better trail foods out there.

I carry zip ties in my camel back. And have learned how to use a stick to plug a hole! All I need now is a small bike pump. :wow

I have been tossing around mounting a really small 12v air pump to some part of my frame (maybe in the tray) with a tiny hose coil. Then a small switch by my key.

I am sure I could find the picture. Currently I have about (no joke) 60 plugs in my front tire. There are at least 20 in one hole alone.

I have always carried a tube of Super Glue. It works great for stitches if you get a nasty wound. :eek:

My kit includes
small vise grips
tire repair kit and C02 filler with 4 cartridges
one quart extra fuel
led flashlight
1 or 2 headlight bulbs
tow strap
zip ties
medium sized first aid kit with shock blancket
spark plug and all tools needed to change it
cell phone
water bottle
light/matches
Some may think thats excessive but I do long range trail riding across the state and have used every thing I have at least once in the last year. except the spark plug
