Drain the system with the plug at the bottom of the radiator and also pull the little bolt out of the inlet flange. this should allow most in not all of the coolant out. Plug and refill. Remember to bleed the system when done!

What Derno said and this: after draining the coolant (while the bolts are still out) I take a hose and spray in the fill bottle for a few minutes to flush it out, put bolts in then fill with Engine Ice, once the gurgle noise stops and it seems full, I will then put the quad in gear and lift the front end so that the coolant flows back behind the hose opening. This allows the air to escape and be filled to the true coolant level. I repeat the lifting procedure twice and just go and ride from there, it works like a charm!biggrin.gif :usa

It's roughly like 90% of the bottle.

Once I switch to the engine ice I don't usually unless I have to pull the fluid for some other reason. (engine removal)

Is changing it the same as refilling it after you roll it?
