#1 Post by SlOoT »

As you might know, we have bought a 2003 KTM LC4 640 engine and we are going to build it into a Dale frame...
We expect it to be done at the end of this year.
I'll keep you guys/girls updated and will post a lot a pics of our work.

I just seen a Dale this weekend with a Yammie 426 motor in it. It wasn't a bad looking machine. I think that Big Wink helped with the conversion and mods.

Today we started looking at what would be the best way to place the engine, since we don't want to mess with anything related to the rear suspension and the frame, we decided that the engine should be placed as much forward as possible so we can get away with the carb. This means that the radiator has te be removed....

Tommorow we will try to find the perfect location for the engine in the frame.

How do you accidently cut the frame in half? Can it not be welded back together?

Man, that sucks. How did your dad accidentally cut the frame in half?

Welding it probably isn't an option, it's heat treated...
