As you might know, we have bought a 2003 KTM LC4 640 engine and we are going to build it into a Dale frame...
We expect it to be done at the end of this year.
I'll keep you guys/girls updated and will post a lot a pics of our work.

I just seen a Dale this weekend with a Yammie 426 motor in it. It wasn't a bad looking machine. I think that Big Wink helped with the conversion and mods.

Today we started looking at what would be the best way to place the engine, since we don't want to mess with anything related to the rear suspension and the frame, we decided that the engine should be placed as much forward as possible so we can get away with the carb. This means that the radiator has te be removed....

Tommorow we will try to find the perfect location for the engine in the frame.

I got some realy bad news............................................................................

.......................... my dad accidently cut the frame in half :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry:
So we had to throw everything away, it's useless now :cry: :cry:

Sorry guys, I realy hoped that this project would turn out well. :cry:

How do you accidently cut the frame in half? Can it not be welded back together?

Welding it probably isn't an option, it's heat treated...

He wanted to remove some pieces, but he was very tired.......

When I came back from the toilet...... there were 2 seperate pieces sad.gif sad.gif :cry: :cry:
