cannibal reliablity?

2003 Cannibal, what do you guys think? are they reliable, or what are some things to look out for? any advice is appreciated!!

How much for the Quad?

Cannondales are quirky look for threads concerning updates and this will give you an idea of what to look for.

I have had 3 different Cannondales and all are still running so if you ask me then yes they are reliable, but they need to be made that way.

2 questions

Which updates are done?

Some people say all of them are done, but there are alot of them that some people did and others didn't.

And How much for the Quad?

Price is important here. Sound like a nice Quad

One last question how many hours are they saying are on it?

i dont know which updates are done, or how many hours are on it? i have yet to find out the details, should have more info tonight. what are some of the updates that ned to be done so i can ask about them?

Motor Mount update, crankcase bolt update should be definitely done, but there are some more. To find a complete list do a search for updates. This way you will have a complete list of all the updates and he can just tell you which one's are done.

Also Happy's quad is in good shape too if you aren't that far from him

Not my quad. My friend who is the hospital. It is the 02 so you are automatically ahead of the game there. You don't need the motormount update with that case but won't hurt to get it.

If you can find an 02 cable or early hyd you will be better off than the 03. Cast case over SSM any day of the week. Don't get me wrong, the 03 is nice and a great machine. But, you are talking reliability. You can make everything more relaible, even a Dodge.
