Guy and Gals, I bought the 03 Cannondale, it is clearly superior to any Japanese Bike available, I have allready had to teach a lesson to a new trx450r, and left an imression on him as you can imagine, to say hte least, the bike is the baddest machine I have owned to date! Now I`m part of the "Club".

Congrats!

Now tear that motor out and do the stage 8/stud update before you become a statistic. There is NO way of knowing if yours will come loose or not, so don't take the chance.

welcome dude, you are in for the ride of your life :head:. the stage 8 kit is a set of after market bolts that hold your clutch retainer plates, and assembly in place (correct me if Im wrong), they just use some special fasteners and snap rings to ensure that they dont back out from vibration, but I would say ride it first and enjoy it a little before you drop the motor and do all the work, I have about 40+ hours on mine and still no problems, but I do plan on checking for the update very soon.
