battery question

i read that the star lock washers were to go on the battery plate and the clamp holding the battery down. Is it recommeded to put star lock washers on the terminals and the starter terminals.

yes, use them on the terminals. loctite will do fine on the hold down clamp.

The battery in my dale sucks! Its been about 2 years so im guessing its about time to get a new one. How much does a new Battery one go for?

I get mine for about $50-$60, but that is with discount. I know retail is like $95. The battery you want is the yt12a-bs. Contact Doug he should be able to get them. Or Jeff at the Quadshop!

Make sure you get the battery number that Derno is giving you, do not get the stock replacement one, as you gain about 70cca. The stocker is only 120cca!!!! The batteries are identical size.

ok ill remember to do that, i had no idea that i could replace it with other than stock.
