I can't believe that I'm only 22 and I'm already saying, "Whats the world coming to?" I just got back from Wal-Mart. I thought I would get out quick by going through the self-checkout lane. When I scanned the item I needed assistance from the cashier. The cashier comes over and asks if I broke it...jokingly. Then she asked me again...."Did you break it?" This time she was serious. I said I didn't do anything but scan my brake cleaner. She started punching in numbers and asked me for an ID. I was like..WTF? What has the world come to when you have to be carded for brake cleaner b/c some people want to huff it? She said that any kind of chemical at Wal-Mart had to be carded.

F wal-mart!!!

I hate that white trash mecca. Everything there is junk! I love when I hear someone say "wow a $30 dvd player". It's a piece of crap that's why it's $30 idiot! They treat every customer like a criminal. It's great when everytime I leave they check my bags to make sure I didn't steal anything. Then when you buy paint or whatever like you did you have to be carded. I have never seen every cash register at a wal-mart open. You always wait in line. It finally dawned on me they did this on purpose so people waiting would buy the crap in the check out line. Then there is the great "price rollbacks". Every one thinks ooh great their giving me a great deal. Reality is you wouldn't buy it at the higher price and they need to clear it out. They use every trick they can think of to get every last penny they can from you. Then nevermind all the ridiculous things they do to the labor.

You hit one of my hot buttons. I haven't stepped foot in a wal-mart in at least 3 years. I do all my big store shopping at target or k-mart now. Haven't missed wal-mart one bit.

You don't get more for your dollar, you get low quality.

i go to wal mart, then i go to other stores, and the same products are always cheaper at wal mart. so i'm getting low quality products eventhough they're the same thing?

walmart doesnt suck my family has worked in the home office for over 10 years now. hey if the 30$ dvd player breaks, take it back! walmarts customer service is second to none and you can get brake cleaner for 77 cents compaired to 1.77 at auto zone or o reillys. i buy that stuff in bulk so that matters. just dont get your car serviced from there and you will be ok. i mean come on a store that you can shop for : groceries, full service bank ,cloths, hardware, guns, get your haircut, taxes done, see an eye doctor, and get nice pictures made. or go to mcdonalds, and thats just the half. without walmart over 5 million people would be without jobs including me and my family. the reason they card for the brake fluid is because kids could be irresponsible with it and blow there hand off or destroy there lungs, it is the law so walmart does follow it.
