powder coat
hey i was wondering if you could post come pictures of powder coated, frames and swing arms. what is the best temp that they should do this at so the frame and swing arm won't loose it's tempure ? if you get it power coated you won't be able to see frame cracks right ?... thats why nhra banded powercoated frames ? how many coats do they usally do ?and haydug what is your price, for a whole frame, frame, swing arm,a-arms,sub-frame. with a simple color.

I will chime in on your questions as I run a small custom PC shop. Since our frames our heat treated I would cure the powder at a lower temp for a longer period of time. All powders have different bake schedules (like any recipe ) If the cure schedule calls for 400 for 10 mins I would run the aluminum frame at say 325-350 for 25-30 mins.
The number of coats on a job depends. They can range from 1 coat to 3 for candy colors...I was thinking of polishing my frame and sealing it with a coat of low-temp clear. :head:
Pricing depends on the amount of prep work involved.
Typically I cut people deals if they send me a bunch of stuff, but depending on where you live check with your local PC shop for pricing.
