FX400 Are they any good

I am going to look at a '01 FX400 with an '02 motor in it. Are they similar to the cannibals and speed. With the engine update isn't it basically a cannibal then.
Are they as good as the '02 &'03 cannondales?

if it has the newer engine it will probably still have the old computer? Also I read that the stearing was pretty twitchy

Yeah, it will most likely have the 500 computer, so to make it a 1000, you would need an ECU, a wiring harness, a throttle body, and injectors......from what I know.

About the steering thing, krash(previous owner of my FX) never said anything about it being twitchy. He'll probably post on here by monday about it

If it has the 500 computer keep it .IMO.Sure they're not programmable but they make the same if not better power.

I think folks are confusing precise with twitchy.I have had my FX for almost 3 years and don't think it is twitchy at all,not even when I first got it.
