Any shooters in the house?
what do you all prefer, a 12 or a 20 gauge shotgun?
I always thought i liked 12`s better until i shot a remington 20 gauge, i didnt miss a beat (trap shooting) with it, i was way more accurate with the 20, weird?

lol kinda depends... are u hunting...skeet...trap. and you might be more accurate with the 20 depending on the choke. If the 2 guns are chocked different it will give u different results. Keep in mind the 20 throws more shot.

Depends on what I'm hunting. I like my 20 gauge for hunting quail and dove, but I like my 12 for hunting turkey and pheasant. If I'm shooting skeet....I prefer the 20 gauge. I'm more accurate and it's a little easier on my shoulder.

unless you are a petite 12 year old girl you should be shooting a 12 gauge.

you can never have too much.

Shoot what you enjoy shootin.

Shot competetive skeet for a year in the navy, with same choke the 20 and the 12 were really interchangable, didnt notice much in the way of improved accuracy with either gun.

.410 was my favorite, cause no one took it seriously. going 25/25 with one of those get's peoples attention. cute little guns.

do not go bigger in gauge to compensate for physical inadequacies

i've shot a 10 gauge that kicked less than a 410...no lie. It was gas operated. Beautiful gun for geese/ducks.

I have a cabinet full of 12 guages, no 20's.

I use them for hunting though and have never really had much use for a 20.

We hunt deer, turkey, geese, dove, and the occasional duck, and the 12 has always done fine.

I hunt turkey with my 10ga and I use a 12ga for trap. I had a h&r single shot 20 ga that I shot some trap with and it was awesome it was a real good gun its all personal preference:)

For hunting, definitely a 12. Ive shot a 12 ga since i was...well... 12.

If youre breaking clay they all work fine.
