Het blaze , Did your plastic gear break because a bolt jammed it. I noticed a bolt was out in the cartridge plate. The 1 oclock

no the filter was smooshed, and sucked up something, got a burr in the pump. The bolt was also another great suprise, here is one more pic, this was a South Bay Moto fubar, left the bolt loose for the shift drum detent, the shift drum would just flop all over the place, there supposed neutral finding update

Here is a pic of a 450r JE piston that tore the pin webs off like mine. Unfortunatly the weak honda rod snapped off. By the way I will be reusing the Timbo rod and z400 bearing in my broken engine. The wrist pin was only siezed on one spot on the edge of the rod. It pressed out fine and the rod journal cleaned up OK. It looks like my engine failure will cost me next to nothing to get the old abuser motor back together for more parts testing. Yippi.
Way to go Timbomoose

Anyone have pics of the Honda crank failures? How about that yfz that exploded. Didnt some burn up from electrical problems? I wish I had taken pics over the years. We have had some good diesel engine failures. Those big six cyliinders can tear themselves apart.LOL
