We'll we have no more snow flakes here in Ohio, but the Cdale is making it's own. This is the trany filter. The oil filter did not show even the slightest sign of any.

My question is: This normal, or has the count-down started?

Quad is on it's 8th tank of gas.

you will see a few the first few changes.your filter looks a little bent?maybe make sure it lines up with the opposite hole before you crank'er down.do a search there are several simple mods to do to that so it lines up easier.

like everyone else says, just normal breaking in stuff, and jfarrar is right, that does look a little bent, maybe the pic is distorted?

Cool, Thanks guys. I pulled the tranny plug first and saw those and was holdin my breath on the oil filter. Would it be safe statement that I ended up with a good one if the there is nothing in oil?

Bill-- I always remember seeing metal flakes in it when I changed tranny oil.

Glad to see it is still running though!! Of course you got yourself a good quad! I wanna see some pics of your quad though. I miss it sad.gif

If you start to see metal like that in your engine oil filter that then you can start the countdown to distruction. But you wont have that problem because you have upgraded your rod bearing...right?
