I have a timbo stroker motor with a 450 kit, and all the other goodies, and i was just wondering what gears i should run with 18in tires?

I have a stocker and run 14/40. With that 450 maybe 14/39 or 38 would better.:usa

I think I recall timbo running a 15 front and 39 rear. He said it pulled 93mph.

I run 14/38 with my Falicon stroker with 18's, BUT I never changed the gearing for Glamis with 20" paddles and it pulled them no problem. You could probably do fine with a 15 front.

We ran a 14/39 or 40 for the 6hr machine and it had plenty for all situations. Maybe even too much in the tight stuff. I kinda like that gearing for all machines.

I've heard some say there's a 15t but why not just get a rear. Go buy a 400EX one at like 38t and put it on. Fits right on perfectly and does about the same.

BTW: I switch to 14-38 on the ATK and it pulled it just fine. Will be running the same w/Timbo stroker.

the 15 are hard to find unless you use the ktm ones.i ran a 15/39 on mine and it pulls it well but i had to pull it back off for the tight indoors but now the sun is shining it will be going back on.there is room for it up front but not sure with the aftermarket chain case savers.
