You will need to file for small claims court. Add the cost of airfare and motel or I can send it to you to file. You than pay the fees and have the shieff Dept serve the paperwork and than on that day you show up to court and get a judgement.

For something like this...id say your almost guaranteed to win if youhave a receit or proof of shipping.....or both...make shure you can find all your receits. if you have any. Anything that proves they have your motor and your money.

Small Claims

I know in Missouri, you can file a small claims case against someone through your local courthouse. Then it is up to SBM to send someone to represent them, they usually don't, defaulting the judgement to you. They would then get notice of a judgement against them. Then, after they fail to obey the judgement, you file again, and then you should get your motor, if it can be found. Otherwise you just have a judgement against SBM, Unless you wrote a check or have paperwork pointing to an individual, and not SBM.

If you can point it towards an individual, and not SBM you can go after that individual. If it all points to SBM you have to go after SBM, and I doubt there is much to go after...

I found this number for them and it seemed to work. I got an answering machine.
