fuel delivery????

I know this has been asked before butcant find it. Fuel pump seems to work but wont keep filter full enough to start. key primes filter partially full then when you turn it over though the filter does not refill and wont start. Replaced filter ... any ideas??

It could be a swollen o-ring in the suction side quick connect.

Get rid of your quick dis-connects. Put in ANYTHING but them and your fuel problems will be solved. Caniboomer has a great update ready, solved all my fuel problems and shut my fuel pump up too. The disconnects that came with the bike are a complete failure of engineering, even working correctly they still provide terrible flow. You can gut the valves out of them, but my advice is send them out with the trash man.

Is the fuel pump running WHILE you are trying to start it? Make sure it is running.
