Lead the way Wistech. I am hacksaw in hand ready. smile.gif

For my riding style, slow and scared, the stock a-arms work great. Just don't want to go a$$-over-end one say because of the ball joints. You will have to put an add out. Something like....got balls?......

http://www.cannondaleriders.com/vbb/showth...42090#post42090 here it is....hope it helps .if you run LSR arm on the front, DONT buy replacment parts from them. heres a little info i found surprising.

Upeer A-arm rod end LSR retail 23 bux!

Summit racing retail 5.95!!

1/2 inch right hand thread (male)

tie rod ends LSR retail 26 bux!

Summmit racing retail 7.95!

1/2 inch right hand, left hand thread (female)

ball joints LSR retail 26 bux!

Parts store 14.95

GM truck tie rod end!! he he he
i build drag cars, and figure if these rods ends are good enough for the 4 link on cars, they'll do JUST FINE on a 400 pound quad!!

Now were talking . Ryan there wqould be no need to redo your arms . maybe just a little touchup where they were cut.

Oh yes the later arms were a simpler design. The ones in my picks are the older speed and cannibal arms. They are physically the same dimension and could be interchanged. I have 2 or three sets laying around here if you need them and Im sure many others have some they would donate to the project . My moto has the v type arms on it so I guess that will be another project for me :hammer:

Been kind of busy lately . So have any of you guys got a book of specs on ball joints and tie rod ends. I keep hearing about using tie rod ends but they would have to be coated as most come as bare metal. I am also hesitant to use a tie rods end off a car because I am not sure they are rated for end loads. Any numbers off the aftermarket a arm parts would be nice to.
