I had a tranny go in mine too. Good thing it was still under warranty! I got everything replaced.

This is being replaced under warranty also, but if they find out it was raced they will not cover it. The adjuster actually came to inspect unassembled motor and quad. Of course it was all stock by then. He even recommended replacing crank under warranty since metal must have gone through it. Was impressed the guy knew what he was talking about.

This happen to all year ltr-s????...or just some odd models who are lemons???

I believe its all of them.Guys are getting billet gear sets or sending trannies to ATP for treatment and polishing.

We havent had any come in to the shop for warranty work on the trannies yet... have had a couple in there fora starter and teh rear wishbone shock linkage where the link mounts to the frame... Zuki half *** tack welded it... so we have to go in and make a complete weld on both sides.. but as far as tranny problems... we have had any come back in yet...

Everyone I know who rides hard has had a tranny failure.First it was part of shift mechanism then gears.Maybe you got a good batch by you.

Well.. the boys that have been buying them....arent racing them so thats one factor....there is one boy tho whos bike ive done who races his and he hasnt had any problems yet...he said it has tho been jumping into neutral unexpectedly here lately... possibly a good sign of an upcoming failure!...

Yes that will be the pivot and maybe the forks.They make a brace for the pivot.

I've been hearing more and more talk about the tranny issues. I have heard of a couple guys with stock motors having tranny troubles. One guy this weekend told me he just had the cherry bomb and exhaust and his tranny went.
