I just started on this project about a month ago. Bought a wrecked 2005 4.0L jeep, and decided to go all out. It now has a brand new frame, 5.3 chevy motor, 4L60E trans, Atlas 2 transfer, Dana 44 ARB rear. The front will be a Currie 9" as soon as funds allow. I would like to thank Steve Johnson aka: extremexj on this site (who still owns a dale) for the good deals on parts. I will post alittle more when I get time.

I like

Are you going to do any motor mods or is it just stock?

I was hoping to get Timbo to stroke it, and maybe add a cylcone. LOL blink.gif Honestly it will be stock for now. I need to add some sort of header, as these manifolds will not work, they are hitting the tub now, and will hit the frame, so it's search time. I am wanting to upgrade to the all aluminum 6.0 motor, just haven't found a great deal as of yet.

That looks like a fun project. Are you going to lift it? I've had good luck with Rubicon Express products.

I've got a similar project going on. I'm building a 1 ton Bronco that will sit on 38s. D60 with an E-locker in the front, 10.25 and a Detroit in the back (both running 4.56 gears). Next winter I'll be ditching the 351W in favor of a FI 460. Fun toys.

It actually has a 4.5" Rubicon Express long arm kit on it. Here is the full build.
