KTM sighting

The guy parked next to me at the race this weekend had two KTM XC quads. One is a 450 and one is a 525. He said he was sponsored by his KTM dealer, and the rumor is that next year they will have a MX version that will be as race ready as these are, but for mx, and rumored to be $12,000. The interesting thing about these, they were nearly 50 inches wide, with a-arms built by KTM.

I think the rear axle was an RPM.

They have already been released they will have the mx bike motors in 450 and 505. They will also have WP suspension instead of ohlins. Here is the link. SX quad

That link is all they say about it. No specs or prices or anything. Just a press release. Are you sure they are released in the US yet?

Specs and price sounds vaguely familiar to a similarly setup factory bike with an aluminum frame, 50 inches wide, ohlins shocks....hmmmmm

It should be pretty light. They are using the SX motor from the bikes instead of the xc motors.

If it has the mx motors...theyre gonna pack a punch...the two engines are very VERY different.......the sx engines being the faster. I have a 250sxf 2007 and it had 41rw horsepower with just a filter and jetting tweak.
