Seems like I saw someone say that C27 had revalved a set of Moto shocks for their 250R... Do they mount up properly?

Anyone know whether the Dale A-arm mounts are the same for the 250R?

I know the rear hubs on the Dales are Honda pattern, are the fronts Honda pattern also?

Honda pattern front and back.I think I converted a set of Custom Axis from a Dale for a 250 r but dont remember doing a Ohlins.Either way the Moto shocks are for long travel in either case Would need a-arms on 250r.Start adding up the dollars Deatons. It dont make sense.

I was just wondering whether a Moto front end would fit on a 250R frame... a-arms and all...

Dirty Tony just used Gibson long travels off a 400ex on his dale. He ended up using 400ex spindles as well to get proper geometry. If moto frame mount widths are the same and 400ex geometry is the same as 250r which I doubt they should bolt on and work. You only have a limited amount of camber adjustment on moto arms though.

cannondale arms will not fit on a 250r because the mounting points are wider at the frame. That is why you have to shim the arms at the frame for a set of 400ex/250r arms to bolt up to a cannondale. And 400ex is the same geomery as a 250r.

So Dale arsm are wider at the frame mounting points, 400EX/250R arms are narrower?

Exactly. It's only about 1/4", but unless you want to chop up the frame they won't work.

Too bad you can't just grind down the Dale arms at the mounting points.... ya think?
