I got a protype swingarm for sale looking for a new home..It will work with everything the orginal's have from swingarm bearing to axle eccentric and such....First to come first served 625$. Hi Corby. What does it weigh compared to the stock one, do you know?

I could have bought one but they do weigh more than a 03',i'm thinking 3 or 4lbs more.

Good old American ingenuity.... The original swingarms were made of casted parts and welded on billet pieces. The second design used a weleded in plate to cover the open area between the sides, lastly it looks like they were trying to avoid the welders period as the whole piece was casted & then machined. It looks like a cost savings over the previous designs, but it still looks so darn cool. I love the three bolt carrier hold-down and smooth finish overall. I wonder what the strength factor would be like compared to the second design arms?

I just weighed them this morning, the solid cast weigh's 13, the 03' and late 02' weigh 12, so there is a pound difference. What i do know from a former R&D tech is that they could never damage one in testing......
