I wouldnt hesitate to use either of these cams in an engine. The only thing better would be the nitrided ones but they dont come this cheap.

Is the decomp tight and updated or what not?

No the cams are right out of a used head no updates. The decomp has .032" side play so its needs a rebuild. The decomp and cam gear is pretty much thrown in with the deal. Thats why its going so cheap. If I put the work into it to remove it from the cam and rebuild it the buy it now would be double.

If there hadn't been a buy it now, I'd have been in it to the end b/c I need cams. But if you put a buy it now and it's a pretty good price, I'm gonna be all over it if I need the part. Thanks for the good price though Wistech! Can't wait to get them in my 478!

I just got off the phone with Tim and he has no idea why that rule is there and said the mods should remove it. The buy it now can't be added after there is a bid on an auction but since I reserve the right to end the auction at anytime for any reason the buy it now is $5000.00 for anyone who doesn't want to get it at smoking good price. Tim is now going to be bidding on it as well.

Like I said, I don't care. I just thought it was ironic, you being a long time member here. I thought the same thing when I saw that rule. Why not just put a ridiculously high BIN and have it go away with the first bid.
