On a quad it will from what I hear but it puts all the current thru the key switch which would be ok in cool weather but for a bike I dont know. Might be better to just replace it... I understand that they are a little different internally than the plain bosch relays for automotive. It probably has a flash back diode or something inside it. Boomer will get you one pretty fast they are not very expensive.

The relay has a resistor and a diode in i which makes it kind of rare. They are not dirt cheap like a regular relay but not expensive either.

Alright since there has be little interest in purchasing the who bike, I'm now taking offers on parts.
Let me know what you need and shoot me a resonable price and I'll get back to you. I'm really only looking to get out what I have into the bike which is about $1900. Like I said many of the parts on it are new.
Head is newly rebuilt with all new valves, and both new cams, Boomer can verify. Head has about 5-8 hr on it.
Crank has a new z400 bearing in it and was balanced with the piston and balance shft by crank works, again it has may be 5-8 hrs on it.
Boomer oil pump mod.
All clutch plates are good.
Boomer fuel rail and quick connect upgrade.
Fuel pump works great.
Coolent over flow
Scotts damper mount
No rips in the seat
Boomer upgrade on/off switch
Head and tail lights work
Plastics in good shape
All other parts on the bike are in good to great shape, with the exception of the kick stand, which is junk.

700 plus shipping for the engine. For sure a loss on my end with the head and the crank alone, but it's probably a fair price overall.
