The Cannondale throttle assy. is bulky and kinda awkward feeling. The assembly itself rubs on my hand, and I actually got a blister on the side of my thumb the last race, from it rubbing on the throttle thumb arm. I also find myself hitting the gas on tight right handers when I don't want too. I never had that problem on my old 400. Same bar bend and everything.

I bought one from mxracer and put on a 400 throttle and love it. If another cable would fit as good as the one I got I would buy an extra. It was worth the 44 bucks to me.

Wyndzer - Thanks for the feedback.

Now about this OEM Honda cable - Is the length OK? Seems like it could almost be too long possibly since the Honda carb is behind the cylinder. Is there any modifications needed - or the cable to be rerouted?

You mean that the fit is perfect with the OEM cable??

I also checked with mark about making one and he said he nees the whole assemble to do it.

Thanks for the tips!

The motorcycle ones are readily available and the price is right.
