Top speed is reached in 5th gear, it's impossible to accelerate in 6th (5th and 6th are overdrive). Depending on what gears the car has, it should go into 5th around 120mph. Governed at 140. :mad:

You should drive an SS or Ws6 with the LS6 intake, true corvette cams and less restrictive exhaust. You can feel the difference.

can a mod chip be installed to get the most usable HP with out the governer not let the car exceed past 120?

LS1 edit, HP Tuners, Predator, hypertech, etc can adjust the above (speed limiter, timing, fuel).
