Walsh long travel 250r conversion Cannondale

2003 Cannondale that started off as a Cannibal.

450cc motor built by Haydug cycles:
-New valves
-New springs
-New aluminum coolant impeller
-New clutch plates
-New z400 bearing crank
-New WWE 450cc piston and rings
-New Interstate battery
-New stock airfilter
-Nacs motocross map
I ALWAYS use Redline synthetic 10w40 in the motor and Redline superlightweight 85w in the tranny
Never had any other coolant in it other then Engine Ice

Other motor updates:
-Aluminum valve cover(won't corrode like other magnesium ones)
-Motor mount(puts less stress on motor mounts)
-Oil line
-solid swingarm bolt
-Inline 20 fin cooler
-Engine cradle has been reinforced to reduce stress


Chassis components:
-Walsh Long Travel a-arms and tie-rods(powdercoated metallic blue)
-Walsh 250r conversion kit(subframe-metallic blue aluminum gastank-wrinkle black)
-Elka piggyback Long travel front shocks(compression adjustable- less then 5 hours on service)
-Ohlins rear shock with a Elka(ssd spring, Hyperco main spring, valving, and bumper)
-RPM Dominator plus 4 axle and a new locknut
-TC pipe(modded to fit the 250r kit)
-Diamond Racing stem bearing(uses a 400ex stem bearing)
-Denton rebuilable steering stabilizer
-Aluminum skid plate


Body:
-White maier 250r plastics(rears have cracks and have been cut, fronts have a like new glossy black maier hood)
-Quadtech seat cover and foam(made by Jetrim but they are exactly the same looking-1986 style seat pan)
-RTC rear seat latch
-Duncan front bumper(powdercoated wrinkle black)
-OMF radiator shrouds and louver(powdercoated wrinkle black)
-Like new AC propeg nerf bars
-88-89 250r grab bar
-450r front and rear seat grommets


Controls:
-New Protaper Contour Carmichael bend handlebars
-New Renthal half waffle grips
-Cycra black stealth hand guards
-Magura hydro clutch
-RTC brake lever
-450r front brake mastercylinder
-z400 thumb throttle
-Pingle kill switch


Drivetrain/braking:
-Front and rear Galfer wave rotors
-Front and rear Galfer steel braided brake lines
-Newer brake pads
-New Sunstar 39 tooth rear sprocket
-New D.I.D non o-ring gold chain
-14 tooth front sprocket


Rims/tires:
-Hiper 10inch front rims with single beadlocks
-Hiper 8ich rear rims with intergrated hubs
-Like new 20inch front MXR4 ITP Holeshots
-Like new 18inch rear MXR4 ITP Holeshots


Items powdercoated metallic blue:
-A-arms, swingarm, steering stem, foot brake lever, shifter, throttle cover, brake mastercylinder cover, magura hydro clutch cover, key switch/kill switch plate, oil filter cover, starter clutch cover, battery strap, case saver, front spindles and hubs


Items powdercoated wrinkle black:
-Walsh aluminum gas tank, Walsh subframe, Duncan front bumper, OMF radiator shrouds/louver, and clutch cover




The bike has less then 20 hours tops on it after being completely rebuilt. The shocks are set-up for a 145lb to 165lb riders. The quad is located in Middletown Delaware 19709 so test rides are fine for buyers who live close. If you have any questions send me a pm or email me at Greencash02@aol.com

Just to let you guys know, I have changed many things since those pics were taken. For example:

Duncan bumper
ac nerfs
new tc pipe
new style walsh gas tank and subframe
new ITP SX tires
handlebars
cycra hand guards
and the list goes on........
