Thinking of selling out, checking interest

I have not posted this on any other board, and I probably won't.

Just checking to see if anyone maybe interested in buying everything I own that is Cannondale related. I have three machines all 2002, all cable clutch models. Two Cannibal quads one mx440s motorcycle. I have lots of aftermarket parts for the quads. One has long travel Ohlins, the other has +2 with TCS shocks. I also have a complete set of PEP and a Walsh 250r kit. Both quads had earlier updates, Stage 8, front motor mount, ect. One quad was in process of being rebuilt with JE/falicon. Still has not been finished. The other quad need something done to the clutch. It was making a noise when the quad first started to move. It didn't start this until the stage 8 and new clutch pack was installed. Probably something I overlooked. Just haven't taken side cover off to investigate. The mx440s runs but needs a little tuning. When the motor warms up it gets hard to start. Also have D&M kit, all stock parts, extra stock parts, just lots of stuff.

I am not interested in parting anything out. I only want to sell as a complete package.

Reason for selling is lack of time, lack of money, lack of interest. My wife is still in school getting her RN. My kids are growing up and getting involved with more activities:cub scouts, baseball, football, dancing, twirl. I'm telling ya, I just about can't handle anymore.

So anyway, if I sell it great I can finally pay off some bills and maybe someone can get some real use out of this stuff. If I don't sell it I guess it can collect some more dust in the shop until I can get around to finishing unfinished projects.

Note: I am only about an hour away from where they are holding the National in Macon, Ga.

Asking price is 10K for everything, but cash talks.

OK, to sum it up you have two non-functioning quads and a bike with a hot start issue?

I thought about this comment. I want to reply again. Because I think that this sentance made my whole post sound like a piece of S**t.

My asking price is not based on the quads and bike alone. Remember I have a brand new falicon in the original packing. Brand new JE piston and sleeve in the original packing. Brand new Boomer filter kit still in original package. Brand new plastic for the motorcycle still in orignal package. The walsh 250r kit that I have never used but was slightly used when I bought it. A complete set of PEP shocks that I have never used but was slightly used when I bought them. In other words I got enough extras to fill up a pickup truck. I got a four foot shelf with nothing but Cannondale parts on it.

So I wanted to clarify that I am not just selling "two non-functioning quads and a bike with a hot start issue"

Plus, remember my asking price is not firm.

Thanks

Sorry Brad77 - no disrespect meant on your rides. Just wanted to clarify what I'd be looking at for purchase as you do have plenty of high dollar parts, but plenty of labor to go along with those parts. Your hot start issue should be a simple D&M fix on the bike though (had the same problem on my 02 X440S). Good luck on the sale!

Brad,

I know you said you didn't want to seel off the stuff seperate but if you don't get any takers I know you will have plenty of buyers for the odds and ends, including me.

Good luck on the sale!

Ken:)

Brad, give me 1 month, and then drive up here on a Friday. Load it all up! I'll put you up for the weekend. When you leave, they will all be up and running! It won't cost you a dime! Well, maybe a pizza one day.

Thanks for offering to help Doug. I may try and take you up on that offer. We will see whats going in about a month. I just wish I didn't live so far away from you.

Yep, I'm down here in Nodaleland. I think there is only one other Cannondale owner in Georgia, f15046.
