I am selling my dale 440 because I do not have the time to fix it. I love it and it's very fast, unfortunately recently I ran into some problems i wish not to deal with. Below is a post i left in the powertrain section of the forums to better explain the issue.

I'm not 100% but seems to be the problem. I am ready to sell CHEAP with any reasonable offer. Still starts right up and besides the oil pissing it runs very good, always has. I am the second owner and have a clear title. It has brand new tires, air filter, oil filter, fuel filter, plastic is dang near mint, all black. If interested please call or reply!

Nice looking machine... I take it you are near Vegas? Too bad you are not up to getting it going again, a cracked sleeve is not too bad of a repair part and labor wise but if it does not have the updates like the crank and such it can drive the repair from a couple hundred bucks to over a k easily.
I have a couple of guys looking for a steal on something like this but I dont know how far apart your idea of a deal and their idea of a steal are.
Can you offer up a range... in pm if you like and I will let you know, most people I find are way off base.

Yes, I live in Vegas. Unfortunately I don't have the time or I would love to dive into this project.
I would take $800, $700 w/o new tires. I am also up for a trade for a boat, utility trailer or ??. If value is more I will pay cash.

Oh crud you are being reasonable... I was afraid of that! Refreshing tho, and you wont have it long I suspect so now I gotta really think about it fast!
Is it a cable clutch or hydro? Titled and what not? Recent picture or old one? Give me a reason to not have to take it off your hands!
In the mean time I will run it by my budds.
I have a friend going up to the grand canyon thursday and I will be up on powell the first week of june, if you can meet up, you would really be making it hard to just say no.
