The NOS kit is very tempting. What was done to your engine to handle nitrous?Would this kit be somewhat of an easy install (LOL)?

I am not sure of all details but i think wistech put a tool steel wristpin so it can handle the extra thump. He might be able to chime in on it. I really didnt wanna sell this quad but id rather get a house at a good price while a can and have a good down payment. Sorry speedracer i might have a sale pending on the nos kit.

No biggie, just wondering. I would most likely poop myself when I hit the button anyways.

Sorry to hear you are selling the quad. I will try to tell what I can remember. I built 11 engines last year and that was somewhere around number 8. It was built as close as possible to the first nitrous engine with some durabilty upgrades. I used the same piston kit and 97mm custom high domed wiseco with a tool steel wrist pin and gapless rings. I'm pretty sure it also has the SK main bearings with nylon cages. I don't remember what cams are in it but they would have been either used stock cams with proven durabilty or nitrided cams. The engine was originally designed for use with a 500ecm so it has a vaccum port in the intake for the manual idle air control and fuel regulator system. Compression ratio is too high for pump gas and should be a race gas only engine. It also has a bike basket.

TTT, The engine and exhaust prices include shipping now if anyone is interested and would get rid of the hood for $275. I have a bunch of pics i can send if anyone wants them.

Do you still have dual exaust for sale? If so, How much shipped to pa? I have a stock head pipe on mine now with a custom fmf factory4 from dave m.(only a few made) velocity stack with k&n. My question to is what kind of horse power increase do you think i would get(approx.) and does it sound good? I know, Stupid question, Is it loud? The louder the better. Thanks!

I would like to sell the exhaust but i really shouldnt until my engine is gone just so if somebody buys the engine and wants the dual exhaust they would have a perfect map for it so they wouldnt have to dyno tune. If i had to guess a good dual system should be an extra horse or 2, yes it is loud and sounds awesome.
