thinking about selling my 2001 x440

fresh rebuild less than 2 hrs

Balanced Z400 crank
Aluminum head cover
new Water pump auto bleeder
E440 stator upgrade
Harness has been upgraded to a newer harness
New ECU programmed with woods fueler
New battery
New air filters
New fuel injectors
New fuel line
New seat cover
new rear tire
Forks have been rebuilt with new seals and oil


what is it worth?

the radiator side covers is prety sunfaded so im not running them on the bike

what are they worth in parts?

im kinda thinking about parting it out also

$1300 - $2000. Best place to sell is ebay. Seems to command the best selling prices. Parting out would bring less. If the motor was blown, I would say yes part out. But ask yourself this, what kind of bike does $1500 buy you? If you don't need the money, keep it and enjoy. Looks like you already have the updates done.

I have sold two 02 E440's, both mostly stock with updated engines. One for $1700 and one for $1500 and its plastics weren't the greatest. I got plenty of $1000-1200 offers off craigslist before eventually settling with what I took for them. Being an earlier model expect probably a max of $1500 unless lucky. Hate to say it but that seems to be the market.

New plastics are still avail for that... full red, full black, or silver shrouds and fork guards with other pcs black or red.

and what would plastics cost?

also does anyone have a street legal frame?

i would keep it if i could make it street legal
