I am putting the Dale back to stock, I have had too much trouble trying to tune this thing correctly and have already missed the first 2 races of the season because of it, so I am selling all the aftermarket parts from the Dale.

Again, all these Items have ZERO use on them. I gave up on the Dale and went to the dark side (YFZ450) All must go. PM me for details. -Chris

PS- Once all the item are sold and the Dale is brought back to stock, I will be selling the Dale as well, the Dale will include HMF Complete exhaust, Diamond Racing Crank/ Rod/ Bearings, 450 kit, Stage 8, all updates done on the Dale... it was an 03 redo. It will also include the D&M software for the PC AND the Pocket PC. The motor starts and runs but it bogs and sputters under acceleration. So I know someone will be able to figure this out, but it wont be me. The Dale as stated above will go for $3800

There are reasons for this that I have now figured out on my quad. I don't know if this will work for all quads, but it has to be cold to test if it works and it shouldn't be cold much longer...

I am sure it is an easy fix - invest the $300 and tune your own mapping rather than relying on that incompetant dealership rather than losing you azz selling it. There is no reason anyone should have that much $$ into a 'Dale and not own the D&M software.

I have the D&M and everything is reading fine

178 degrees
2200 rpm idle
TPS calibrated
fuel settings set
map entered
Plug golden brown
50+ degrees outside
runs fine in the shop right up until 11,000 rpm
get it out to ride it and it completely shuts down at about 5000 rpm w it under load.

I would love to keep this bike, but not as a decorative piece in my garage.

Sorry I didn't think you had the D&M.

If it is only happening under acceleration it is probably an electrical problem, or possibly a fuel issue. How far are you from Haydug or Champion or Maz?
