What is the price for a new motor and what are you willing to pay for a brand new 03 motor?

I may be interested in a COMPLETE motor also. I would guess $2K

I dont know how accurate the information is but I heard that the motor (this is from dealer) is 5 grand for a new one.
anyone validate that?

Thanks James, I knew it was up there. as my dealer explained it to me, you're basically getting most of the suspension and all of the frame and body for free.
Their financials said they sold their bikes a t a loss, I can see that now.
You have to admit, it's a very impressive motor, I dont think there is another 440 out there that would touch it.
