Real hard to say...Mine is identical to this quad and i got 250 nearly trouble free hours before the crank bearing failed. Cannondale replaced lotsa engines from this period, but i think most of them were for oil puking, which was remedied later with a different piston and the breather update. Some were replaced for crank bearing failures though. I think this quad would still be a good buy though. I would pull the engine at 50 hours and replace the crank bearing and check crank balance though, do the breather update, keep an eye on chain slide, and be ready to replace the ball joints and tierod ends, and coolant resevoir. I'm trying to talk myself into it and then send it to southbay.

motox sent me a pic
