My motor has 3hrs on it w/ every single update known and 14-1 compression. Its a 460. I'm considering parting it out.. Will know in a few days if I go that route. Its ported also.. Pm me an offer.

Still have it? No I am not the same guy that was looking b4. I am deciding wheather to rebuild or just
try to find another engine. My goal is something reliable here, more than anything.

You probably wont hear back from him... that complete quad is currently in my garage.
All I can say is it is a good thing for most everybody involved... even you!

A number of complete engines sold have not worked out so good for the buyer with things not being as claimed by the seller, which I can say was not the case on this one. But even so you can end up in the same or worse position than you are now. It would be best to go thru it yourself with help available here or send it to a reputable builder. Yes it may cost a little more but in the end you would know exactly whats in there.
If your goal more than anything else is something reliable, a stock fully updated motor is the best way to go and alot cheaper.
Hope that helps,
Ray

Thank you sir, I figured that is what was going to be said. The motor is currently out, and I havent
really got into it yet, but I may have spun the bearing not so sure. Not a lot of metal but when it quit\
it was as if the flywheel spun, but it didnt. Go figure. I also have a z400 that quit the same way and it was the cdi. I am wondering if that may have been it too on the dale. But it is out now and Hopefully
I can remember how to put it back in. I have emailed blackwidow a few times but no response there.....

I see alot of timbo cranks and work done here, how does that work out?
