im 19 i worked a sears auto center all summer i got money but im not allowed to spend it i need to use it for school or my mom will kill me lol....my gf gave me 150 for my bday so im trying to come up wth the rest of the money

Jobs are a great thing. They teach responsibility and make you appreciate worth.

BTW: I'm 20, not much older. Over 25k in debt (college), paying for the Cdale, insurance, etc. Working 20 hours a week during school and 40 a week over the summers. You can do it.

Get a job!

lol sounds to me like u need a dollar to.....I had a job 40 hrs a week but im not commuting to school and i have nocar at school im trying to transfer home so i can get a job and commute

No jobs on or near campus? I work for a tech place on campus for a measly 6 something an hour, but it sure as hel! beats nothing!

im only allowed towork like 4 or 5 hours a week due to my work study awards at 675 an hour

Ahh... I once had that problem as well. Then I convinced my current place of employment that I was far too valuable to only work such few hours. They now pay me directly instead of through work study, so I c an work the allowed student maximum for an on campus job of 20 hours a week.

I'm considering finding a 2nd job off campus for the weekends, maybe landscaping or something of the like.
