I have my quad in for repairs 03 cannibal and he said it would need an ECU (computer)how much can i get one for .Would it need to be mapped before?

Can you tell us how the mechanic arrived at that conclusion? ECUs very rarely go out.....

I have been calling him once a week. He went through all the electrical and other stuff. he had a dale and said his did the same thing and needed a ecu. So To be honest I have no idea

. Seems like a lot of money just to guess. ( Hey I have his number if you want to talk to him and get this thing running

)

Sometimes an ECU malfunction can be cured, but that requires a D&M kit, or Dealer Cal.
I have ECU's here, new or used, and programmed or not just depending on your shop's capability.

If you happen to email or call for prices, also advise the VIN number from the machine's frame.
