i was an #@$ and chewed through one this weekend at Dumont Dunes. forgot to grease the chain even though i brought it with me! either way i already hit boomer up, but used parts work too. i've been riding a stock one, but may be interested in going down a tooth or 2; looking for a little longer gear, but dont want to loose to much tq. any opinions are welcome.

when you say honda you mean the 400ex? or all newer ones as well; such as 450's

Check part numbers for a 400ex and a 450r. I believe they are the same, and yes, they bolt right on.
