I have a 2002 cannondale speed and I race motocross on it, I love my quad and have nerf bars on it now. But im tired of running over my feet. Does anyone have any nerf bars with heal guards or heal guards that will fit stock nerf bars?

Do you have the stock baskets and wireframes?
Moto and Blaze stock heelbaskets were trimmed to fit by cdale.
But you would need some missing hdwr to convert. Send pics?

When I lived in Cali there was some guy racing one in pro classes out there. Never got a chance to talk to him to see if he's on here. Last time I saw him he crashed bad and left right after. The guy was fast and could do insane whips though. I watched him out pull Kory Ellis out of a corner and clear an at least 100' gap.

But always nice to see them live on.

Unfortunately I just sold my spare set of nerfs with heel guards. They come up on eBay from time to time though.

I just took the stock plastic heal guards off my bike. Make a offer one side has a crack where it bolts to the peg.

Thanks everyone ive put a lot of money in it and ive won a lot of races on it, and id really like metal ones. I brake things easily with racing a lot and hard.

...those baskets would be fine for converting to the moto-blaze stock Nerfs as pictured above, since that broken mount point gets trimmed off anyway.
Otherwise, the stock baskets are quite durable. I think most are removed for not being "cool" enough, rather than actually breaking beyond use with the stock Nerfs.

I don't like how Cannondale mounted them to the Nerfs -- letting them rest on the outer nerf surface to cause deep wear-grooves in the aluminum tubes, but that can be avoided,
and the stock baskets can at least prevent injury while waiting for the perfect clamp-on metal heels to come along.
