Hey guys!! I just picked up a 2003 E440 that was taken apart, and upon inspection when I got home, found it was missing a few items:

Cam cap (the ones with the ribs to hold the cam bearing in place)
Oil filter cap
Speedo computer

Valve cover if anyone has one hiding!! Its starting to pit around where the pump is.

I need these ASAP!

I can't find the cam cap from the manufacturer... so that makes things interesting.

I am trying to get this bike race ready QUICK, we have practice rounds that I am trying to make, and then a race at the end of next month.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!!

Make sure to measure the cam cap. They are not interchangeable. Each cam cap is head specific. They will bolt on but the bore will be incorrect. They were line bored from the factory. If too tight, your cam bearing will go out. You can have a local machine shop check it and fix if needed. Tolerance is same as diameter of bearing +/- .001" max. Torque spec for cam cap is wrong in the manual. Manual says 10 ft/lbs. It should be 10 newton meters which is 7.4 ft/lbs. Good luck on race season.
