Here is a mild ported 432 (green) 460(red) SAS470 (blue)
There were some real interesting occurences on this motor. The uni air filter made less than a 1/4 hp difference than no air filter at all. The big thing was the fmf with a quiet core and a spark arrestor actual had a higher peak hp number than the brand new open fmf straight through muffler. Usually the queit core was at least a few ponies less hp on all other engines. I think it was because the prototype cams liked a little more backpressure . The torque suffered a little on the quiet core though.

Today we blew away the notion that a stroker crank is the only way to go. Check this out. Here is a stock crank 460 we tuned today vrs one of my hottest 448 stroker engines . Shocking to say the least.
Also, what were the compression ratio's, of these two engines.
