Dyno's are different also so the most important thing is a basleline number to start with..If Wade has anything and I doubt he does, he is waaaay to late and nobody is gonna send him money or a motor..
Here is one.Little old.Same 450r quad later got near 50 with cam, pipe and ignition. All the 06's got above 45hp with just basic mods that everyone does.Glad we are keeping atop game!
A little food for thought. My brother in law just dynoed his quad(Rick's old crf) He showed me what they are using for dyno setup. Its an aluminum axle with 250x front wheels and small scooter tires on it. It wieghs about 1/3 of what we are using . I might see if I can borrow it to see how a light weight setup affects readings. Now I know why he wouldnt sell the aluminum axle to Animalscannibal. LOL
You know what else.Since the shop I work at part time became a Yamaha/Suzuki dealer last year I have seen plenty of major engine destruction from the so called better quads.Just yesterday had a 06 YFZse not a scratch in the thing all stock with motor basicly cut in half from the rod which wasnt even in the motor. We are really doing great right now both power and reliability wise in comparison.Lot to be thankful for.
