As reigning leader of the 70 hp club I feel its my duty to say....

Actually, I was talking with Tim and he said someone had beaten me but they have yet to produce charts. They were using turbo so if it held together they can blast by me.

I knew you where up there somewhere, I wanted to know if anyone else was also. Someone with a turbo? Huu sounds like a genius? I see some Honda builder got 128hp out of one, thats just insane.

Happy what was your hp and tq?

58.04hp w/ 38.80 (natural)

72.60hp w/ 46.70 (N0S)

You will notice the natural is lower than most folks numbers, I kept the timing very mellow as you don't want aggressive when you use n0s.

We got 70 out of the supercharged 432 we built when running on methanol at 8psi. It is back on 91 octane now and putting out 63 with 5psi boost.

Happy, that was a 495cc right? Your tq looks good on NOS.

cds, thats some good number for 5psi. Whats your tq at 8psi and 5 psi?

You are the one that got the super charger working eh? Very cool. Tim said you got over 73 though....shame on Tim for messing with me!!

Yep, 495 with race gas.

Don't remember torque numbers...I'd have to go back over to the dyno and look it up on the pc.

The supercharger topped out at 8psi, need a bigger one. More boost and I'm sure it would have held together for more hp.

Last I had heard it locked up on you, what did it end up being? How much time do you have on that SC 432?
