Porting was from a year ago . It was a fresh engine that had not been broken in yet so it still had the dinosaur oil in it. She also didn't get the thunder duals.

Here is a dyno chart of of the difference the high lift cams made on the 460. The stock cams had more torque below 7000 and also peaked earlier. The result of the high lift was the same torque number but 1000rpm later and there was a top end hit of 3 hp more.
Both engines had were identical with an open fmf system the only difference was one had stock cams the other the high lift exhaust.

Here are 4 460's I found in the files. Tims 54 hp had a more in the mid but less on top. The rest are mine from the past few years. Maybe someday someone else will get into the 50's with these easy to build budget engines. Get off your rumps......

I would love to get mine dynoed and tuned in. I have a 460 piston, mild port n polish job, full fmf ti exhaust, and k and n airfilter. So far I've been pretty impressed with it. Traction is my biggest issue.

As porting improves every year the older the porting the less the output.
As you can see only 2 engines were near each other because they were built almost the same. The cams ,cam timing and exhaust were all different so the results were very different.

So the older you get the more power the engine produces... I see the light now!!!!

So what happened to you are suppose to know what you are doing from the beginning!!!
