Wistech, how much more is gained by running duals?I see the stock stroke machines are making great numbers.

We have been able to beat open race pipes by a couple of horse with quiet cores and over 4 horse when left uncorked. It all depends on the engine configuration and cam timing. Id keep the cam timng closer to stock for quiet cores and retard as much as 6 degrees for open duals.

Strokers for high end power 112/109 with open exhaust, duals
Strokers for midrange and restricted exhaust 110/108
Stock engine for all topend power 113/111
Stock engine with restricted exhaust 107/106
450/460 with high compresion 111/108 for max power 109/107 with quiet cores
If wanting more low end or smoother engine drop a couple from those numbers

Your results are guaranteed to vary as no engine is ever built the same anymore.

You would have to contact Deatons about that. I shipped my engine to him to be repaired, then he installed it in one of cdracer quads and dynoed it. I am sure it was close to him.

Since he doesn't get on here anymore.....the dyno is at Meridian Motorsports, but my experience is that it's something the owner allows one of his employee's to do after hours, so it needs to be coordinated through Chris or James. Anthony is the operator. I don't know his last name.

That's correct...Meridian Motorsports. They aren't open for regular business anymore (the owner of the shop also owns the building with other businesses). If anyone in the Boise area wants to get on a dyno and tune a dale, let me know.
