I think it was posted on the other site but it seems to be down . Does anyone know for sure what fork seal from another bike works on the ohlins. I dropped my forks off at Kinney Racing because one of the seals started hemoraging. He stocks most every fork and shock seal for other bikes. Hopefully they would be close to a dale.

they make seal kits for everything and it even comes with installation grease.

Here is what was on the package that I got.
Honda CR125R 97-07,CR250R 96,CR500R 96-01, Kawasaki KX125 96-01, KX250 96-01,KX500 97-04,Suzuki RM250 01-03,Yamaha WR250E 01-04, WR250R 01-11,WR250X SUPERMOTO 08-11,WR400F 98-00, WR426F 01-02, WR450F 03-04, YZ125 96-03, YZ250 96-03, YZ250F 01-03, YZ400F 98-99, YZ426F 00-02, YZ450F 03.
They were MSR Seals P/N 41-3926.
Make sure that they heat the tube to expand the metal for easier inner tube removal. The guy I talked to at Ohlins, was very clear about this part. It does make a difference.

He had the mrs seal kit in stock. One seal fit and and the other was so loose in the bore that it moved back and forth and leaked around the outside of the seal and moved up and down with the inner tube. Got to love quality control.

I agree. I did not love the MSR kit and have not ridden the bike much since I installed it. I was not used to seeing 2 springs in the seals. Most every seal I have changed only had 1 spring. I was a bit confused as to which side to face the oil.Hopefully it will last for at least a few years.

We replaced the loose seal and sure enough it was a few thousandths smaller than the bore. I wonder how that is even possible unless it's made for some other machine that made its way into the wrong package.

I've been using a Honda part #51490-KZ4-J21 and had great luck. The package has one seal and one dust wiper in it. They seem to last longer than anything else I've tried. I put a Race Tech low sticktion seal in once and has a puddle of oil in the back of the truck in the morning. Went back to the Honda seal.
