Hooking up headlight, has anyone ever hooked up a headlight on the 2003 x440 through the stator/reg? I have a e440 stator/v reg just not sure which wires to tap into, I do not have a schematic.

There should be a single black wire with an open female bullet connector near the battery. This is the power take off for the lights.

There is a single red female connector and I connected to it and my relay blew! I also found it had a bigger than needed fuse(30-is supposed to be 10),when I swapped to ten with the light hooked it blew the 10 amp.
