Went to change my oil on my bike and notice that my oil was grey. can anyone tell me what's Going on and how to fix this
What oil was grey the engine or trans? Water in oil will turn in milky white and frothy like a melted chocolate shake. Grey usualy indicates metal. If its in th engine wrap your engine oil filter in a bundle of wrags for an hour so it weeps all the oil out of it and inspect the paper for metal. Slice the pleats on both sides so you can strech it out. Also if your engine is making metal it will leave a bunch of it on the bottom of the oil filter housing when you remove the filter. Are you running magnets in your oil system?

im talking about my egine oil. when I changed the oil, it had the metal filter and I did see little metal flakes on the filter. I put back in the paper filter.
