hi, i'm replacing the one way clutch in my engine so my starter will engage. i have the engine tore down to the plate in front of the crankshaft. i have all the bolts out, but it's not budging. any ideas?........... also, could i use a used one-way clutch without worrying about it breaking?
You'll need to screw a couple of M6 bolts into the threaded holes in the crankplate to draw the plate out of the case. Try to use bolts with smooth ends or they'll dig into the case a bit as you draw off the case.
Do a turn on one bolt then a turn on the other so it draws out evenly.
Make sure you get the drive pin out of the front (supply) oil pump or you'll break it.....
