Hey guys !
a friend of mine just started to rebuild his cdale.
As he broke dwn the engine he found a little hole in the crank ( drilled ) .
Is this from balanceing the crank ????
Furthermore , if he is turning the crank ( without starter and timingchain attached ) he can hear some cracking noise
Any ideas ???
thanks ,
Marcus
Need advise

the hole that I think your talking about is for setting top dead center as for the cracking noise more than likely it's the crank bearing.
